People choose to scatter the ashes of their loved ones within our peaceful grounds, in a place where lives are commemorated and memories are held sacred.

Family members can return whenever they need to remember their loved one and feel close to their presence.

Location

Next to the ornamental lake in the Glades of Remembrance (South Cemetery), there is a large open meadow where ashes can be scattered.

The light winds that blow across this expanse of parkland, gently carry and scatter the memory of a loved one throughout our beautiful cemetery.

Cost

The scattering of ashes must be registered and booked through the cemetery office. A small fee applies, please see our price guide.

Tree dedication

To celebrate the life of a loved one and acknowledge their presence at the cemetery, we offer the opportunity to dedicate a tree in their memory.

A memorial name plate with a personal dedication is placed in front of the tree and to enhance the area, you may plant bulbs or leave fresh cut flowers, a wreath or posy.
