God’s Trees: a talk with Julian Evans
Brookwood Cemetery Glades House, Cemetery Pales, Woking, Surrey, United KingdomIn his presentation, God’s Trees, Julian takes seven cameos from the Bible around the three of trees, forests and wood. Among them are the Sycomore-fig that Zaccheus climber, cedar of Lebanon for temples and palaces, the astonishing first-century fishing boat preserved in the mud of the Sea of Galilee, and what might have been the wood of the Cross. The illustrated talk lasts about 45 minutes with time for questions and discussion after.
